Unsolicited Commercial Email AKA Spam

Nobody wants it (except a very few people who enjoy dubious pharmaceuticals, unlikely Rolex watches and meeting online  singles).

You don’t have to spend your life dealing with it.

Tips

  • Unsubscribe only from legitimate businesses that you don’t want email from anymore i.e. The Gap, Pottery Barn or Barnes and Noble.
  • Do Not Ever unsubscribe from the obvious Spam- Watches, Enlargements, Pharmaceuticals. If you do they will realize that they have and actual person at your email address and Spam you even more. Just delete them or mark them as Spam (Junk).
  • Don’t mark as Spam or Junk people you want to get mail from. Junk is different from Trash in email terms. Trash means “I am done with this message and don’t need to see it again” Spam or Junk means “This is an example of Spam, delete it and never show me mail from this sender again.”

Solutions to help you manage SPAM are available ranging from free to low cost depending on your needs. Free up time for productive work or productive relaxation.
